Concessions

History of the chapter's involvement with concessions - started around 1950.

1951-11-20 minutes: Jack Harrington asked if we would take the midway concession at spring carnival. Committee appointed to review contract

At some point the chapter begins building a large wooden framework covered with tarps as a concession stand. This remains in use until the 1990s.

In the 1990s the concession stand is moved to a tent.

In April 2003 Kappa is told that they can no longer cook in a tent, a new structure is built on short notice to house the concession stand.
