The Singapore Pledge
The pledge was written S. Rajaratnam, at the time a Cabinet Minister.
We, the citizens of Singapore, pledge ourselves as one united people,
regardless of race, language, and religion;
To build a democratic society, based on justice and equality;
So as to achieve happiness, prosperity, and progress, for our
nation.
National Anthem
The national anthem is "Majulah Singapura" which translates as "May
Singapore Progress" or "Onward Singapore"

Berjaya Singapura!
Marilah kita bersatu,

Onward Singapore
We, the people of Singapore,
Together march towards happiness.
